Model Based Engineering

Our team of software developers has over 40 combined years of experience building and integrating model-based engineering tools.

We have an established background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches focusing on integration and interoperability of complex systems.

OpenMETA

OpenMETA is our flagship multi-domain modeling, analysis, and design toolset.

OpenMETA is open-source and free-to-use.

We work with clients to develop custom (closed-source) versions of the software for specific industries and applications.

Projects

Task Accomplishing Systems from Composable Kits (TASCK)

TASCK provides the framework needed to create on-demand robotics tailored to a particular task in real-time.

ADAM – Acubed by Airbus

We’re supporting Airbus’s efforts to transform the aerospace industries via software development, systems-level design, and technical project management.

Experimental Legged Vehicle

Gazebo Simulations of Experimental Legged Vehicle generated from parametric models using OpenMETA.

OpenMETA Spacecraft Trade Study

The spacecraft architecture includes several options for panel size, gyroscope, and battery. A trade study can be performed to compare the performance of each permutation, with measures of effectiveness derived from the combined CAD and Modelica analysis workflow.

Vahana Case Study

Inspired by Project Vahana from A³ by Airbus, engineers at MetaMorph built OpenMETA models of the Vahana Tilt-Wing Multirotor aircraft and a generic electric helicopter, using A³’s publicly released source code as a template.

Using the OpenMETA toolset, we performed a multidisciplinary optimization and analysis of the two models across a range of operating distances.

Our results replicate A³’s results and suggest that an electric tilt-wing multirotor aircraft offers a significantly lower direct operating cost (DOC) over a more traditional electric helicopter design around a target operational range of 100 km.
