## Introducing Tim Thomas!

### Role
I joined MetaMorph to serve as a Hardware Simulation/Software Engineer. I'm currently working on building various projects using the [Metamorphosys Tools](/content/tool-overview/index.html) to both test and showcase their abilities.

### Alma Mater
I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and I graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering.

### Tell us about yourself
I spent a few years of college chasing a girl I liked, and now we've been married four years and have two beautiful kids.

### What do you like best about MetaMorph so far?
I like the challenge and excitement of working for a startup! Everyday we are encountering new problems and coming up with strategies that haven't been implemented before.

### Before working at MetaMorph, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
For the past four years I served as a Catholic missionary at the University of Pittsburgh and at Vanderbilt. This was one of the best experiences of my life, and it challenged me and taught me so much.

### Favorite Meal
Two eggs over easy, toast with plenty of butter and apricot jam, bacon, and a decaf Americano.

### Any Hidden Talents?
I can speak Chinese. I studied in China for a summer during college.

### What's your favorite thing about living in Nashville?
The creative energy and the music scene.

### If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?
I wish I knew how to make cheese and wine. That sounds like a superpower to me!
